What a useful gadget! Solves two problems when using laptop on your knees: no more leg “heating” and there’s a space for convenient use of your external mouse! Wonderful!

FineReader for me is the most intelligent Optical Character Recognition software by ABBYY (creators of Lingvo dictionary) so far. It’s really great that now you can do text recognition online:

KiosKiosk is a prototype, affordable, contemporary, mobile retails space. Kiosks can offer small, flexible spaces for businesses in the early stage of their development. Councils / landlords can offer them on a short term or long term basis. Kiosks don’t come with the usual barriers to entry, red tape and restricted use than are associated with retail outlets in prominent locations

Just came across TeamViewer – what a great solution for remote desktop sharing. Works across different platforms and even from within a browser! Moreover, it’s completely free for non-commercial use!

Tried it out on both Mac and PC – works well on both.
